Made in the softest cotton, this garment involves a series of crafts-persons. Firstly a block-maker carves the flower design onto blocks of wood, which then goes to the hand-block printer to stamp out the pattern on the hand cut garment pieces. . Part of the garment then goes for stitching after which, it is passed to the artisan embroiderers for hand embroidery called chikan work. A gift handed down for centuries in the small family I community work with.

Round neckline opening onto a neat v neck. Gathers fall from the neckline. The raglan sleeves are wide and relaxed and embroidered along the sleeve edge.. The entire dress is hand embroidered with he neckline the most heaviest embroidered.

Each piece is truly unique. Each piece is exquisite. To be treasured.

A simple easy fit-style (buy one size smaller for a fitted look) with three-quarter sleeves

Block printing is a centuries-old craft, using hand carved wooden blocks. Though it might be the simplest and slowest of all textile printing methods, it some of the most beautiful results. Fabric printed by such methods only become more loved over time.

Care Instructions

We recommend machine or hand wash at 30 degrees with similar colours. Please wash on reverse to protect the tassel, using non-bio washing powder.
Iron if preferred.
